Ebbsfleet Development Corporation was set up and reports to the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to speed up to facilitate the delivery of up to 15,000 homes and create a 21st-century Garden City in North Kent.
Working closely with local authorities and communities, we are committed to creating a truly brilliant place to live, work and visit, providing high quality, attractive and sustainably constructed housing and infrastructure.
As the planning authority for the Ebbsfleet Urban Development Zone, the Corporation works closely with county councils and other partners to ensure work is locally responsive in every aspect.
So far, excellent progress has been made – over 3,500 homes are already completed and houses are being built quicker than anywhere else in the country, without detriment to quality, design or sustainability credentials.
